I have been storing up this review for a while now, and I am so excited to share my verdict with you.
I have been loving this bronzer recently, especially after wanting this product for so long and I finally managed to get my hands on it – thank you Amazon. I purchased this for £13.99 which included delivery at the time, this is because it was shipped over from the US and before you ask, I did not pay any custom on the item. It claimed it would take up to three weeks for me to receive the item and I was fortunate enough to receive it within a week.
I grabbed this in the light shade purely because I struggle with bronzers coming up more orange than bronzed on my skin, so I have started to be fussy about the bronzers I purchase. If you would like any of my lighter skin bronzer recommendations, leave a comment below and I’ll write a post about it.
I firstly want to start by saying this colour is the perfect bronzing colour, it is a lovely bronzed tone which doesn’t go chalky nor does it look orange on my face – which I find to be my two main struggles when using bronzers. I also find that when I am applying this, it blends out nicely on my face which can give me a subtle bronze or a buildable and a lot more heavier colour.
The main thing that I know anyone who owns the Butter Bronzer will agree with me on, is that its smell. I don’t mind the smell, I don’t like it or hate it but, I do know that it’s one of the first things people mention when referring to this bronzer. It reminds me of going on holiday, it’s a tropical fragrance – kind of like the drink Malibu if you know what I mean, coconut kind of scent which is not too harsh.
It also comes with its own sponge applicator, personally, I have not used it. It has sat in the bottom (underneath the bronzer) since I have purchased it. I like to stick to my own brushes when applying bronzer, mainly because I am not too trusting and too much of a perfectionist to use any other applicator.
Overall, I found this bronzer to be definitely worth its hype. I have used loads of bronzer’s over the years, and I found this one to be up there in my favourites.
As mentioned above, if you would like me to do my top bronzers for paler skin then leave a comment below.
Until next time…
