Hi Guys!

Welcome back to my page!

I have been reading a lot online about Castor Oil and how it helps grow your eyelashes and eyebrow hair, luckily I have quite good length lashes but I wanted to try this and see what it can actually do, especially to my overgrown and unshaped brows.

I picked this up from Amazon for £5.99 for a 250ml bottle, which I thought was quite good and luckily used prime (Thanks, Dom) to get it quicker so I can start trying it. What is Castor Oil? It’s a vegetable oil which is high in vitamin E and has essential unsaturated fatty acids, for example, Omega-6 which helps blood circulation on the surface of the skin to encourage hair growth. I should add that castor oil is comedogenic which means that if you suffer from spots then this product may break you out, as it does clog your pores.

With applying it to your eyebrows, it’s advised to clean your face before using warm water to remove all traces of makeup from your face, it’s recommended to buy pure cold processed castor oil for the best results. How I did this was using a cotton bud and applying to my eyebrows before massaging in for 3-5 minutes, I leave this on overnight to get the best result and wash my face in the morning to remove all traces of the oil from my face. How long does it usually take your eyebrows to go back? This process can take between 2-3 months on average, this does vary between each individual though.

I have been using this product regularly as part of my nightly routine, and I wish I took before and after pictures because my eyebrows are looking fuller than ever. I do like this product for stimulating the growth of my brow hair but it’s messy as it leaves a brown stain on my pillow every night – aside from that I am super impressed!

Let me know whether you have tried Castor Oil and what your verdict on the product was in the comments below.

Until Next time…

Love, DD x
