REVIEW: MAKEUP REVOLUTION FAST BASE FOUNDATION STICK

Hi Guys,

I am finally getting round to reviewing the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick! I have been trying to get hold of this for ages since it’s release and I got very lucky just before Easter to nab one from my local Superdrug along with the Conceal and Define Concealer (last one in my shade of the foundation too!).

My Instagram feed has been swamped with posts of this foundation and loads of reviews, which as always I am late to the train. Where I haven’t been well recently I have been struggling to find the determination to write any blog posts and out of nowhere, my motivation came back along with my health! So Hooray for that!

So Makeup Revolution has released their first foundation and damn it’s a good one! So the foundation has 18 shades, they can be used as a foundation, highlighter or even a contour stick – they’re that multi-purposeful! This allegedly is full coverage finish and apparently creates a dewy finish.

Overall my thoughts on this product is that it’s definitely full coverage and applies beautifully to your skin, it’s like it melts into your skin as you blend it. Would I purchase this again? Maybe, only because I found a couple of issues with this product, first of all being that when I applied this that it wouldn’t set into my skin. So when I began to apply my eyeshadow, the foundation moved off of my face.. like wtf?! Moved off of my face? That’s not ok! I also noticed with my combination skin, it goes quite oily especially as the day goes on. Which for me is a big no-no! With a full coverage foundation, I would expect this to set easily and well.

Let me know me know in the comments below whether you have tried this product and how you got on with it.

Until Next Time…

Love, DD x
