Hi Guys and welcome back to my page!
I wanted to do a post about my Marc Jacobs Voxbox through Influenster, who is an online platform for bloggers, vloggers, and influencers to review products, answer/ask questions and post pictures. With doing this you can link it to your social media to increase your impact score which with all this combined will help you receive a Voxbox which you will review and post on your social media to promote the product and influenster.
From doing this I received the above box from Marc Jacob Beauty with the new Highliner Matte Gel Crayon in the shades ‘(Earth)quake’ which is a gorgeous chocolate brown and ‘Deja Blue’ which is a pale baby blue. I am in love with (Earth)quake as it’s versatile for a smoky eye or even to darker your waterline, dependant on what look you’re going for. The product is promoted as ‘matte-not-flat, extreme colour, waterproof’ shall we put this to the test?
Before we dive in, let’s talk about the overall appearance of the product, Marc Jacob Beauty are renowned for their sleek packaging, the pencil itself is made of plastic but with its metallic silver exterior which you would think is metal. I initially tried the product on the back of my hand, the product applies the same way as a gel would and as it dries it begins to mattify, the colour of both products are lovely and are buildable and easy to blend.
After applying this to my eyes I was even more impressed, the product is a gel consistency in a pencil form and it applies beautifully. I did try and add this to my eyelid, however, it was a struggle to blend without wiping it away regardless I was impressed overall with the product.
Though overall, I love the colours as they are extreme just like they’re promoted to be. The colour is beautiful which is great as I personally dislike the shade ‘Deja Blue’ with my dark eyes it’s not something goes particularly well. I love love love, (Earth)quake! The colour is beautiful and I love how it applies to my eyes.
My one and only (not too bad) con with this product is that it’s promoted as waterproof, I can confirm that this is not waterproof.
Please let me know if you have tried this product and your verdict and please feel free to ask any questions about Influenster.
Ta Ta, for now, my lovelies.
Love DD x
