Hey guys!

Welcome back to my page!

I wanted to do a post about my recommendations for this gloomy month on Netflix, speaking for myself I am poor and miserable in the month of January and usually spend my time watching a lot of TV and being extremely unsociable. As this year is the first year of my blog I thought what better way to kick off 2018 with my recommendations on Netflix to get you through January- Shall we dive in?

If you haven’t already watched this, then what have you been watching? This has to be one of the most talked about season around at present. The first season centre around four students at Riverdale High and the impact of a death of a fellow student at the school, it follows them around trying to deal with this tragedy. If the plot itself doesn’t do it for you, the leading boys will (K.J Apa and Cole Sprouse). If you start this now you (should be able) to get up to date in time for the return for the second half of the season.
Recommended if you liked: Pretty Little Liars

Jane The Virgin
I personally cannot get enough of this show, it’s an easy watching show. This show is loosely based off of the telenovela called ‘Juana la Virgen’. The show is based around Jane Villanueva who is determined not to follow in her mother’s footsteps by having a teen pregnancy.  She is an aspiring teacher who is engaged to a detective who respects her decision to save herself until Marriage, her life was turned upside down when she was accidentally artificially inseminated at her routine check-up at the clinic. – If this does not do it for you, it’s a cheap laugh that you end up becoming invested in. They’re currently having a break halfway through Season 4 and I cannot locate when it’s coming back – I highly recommend this.

The Sinner
I was recommended this by a colleague at work after saying that they binged it in two days and I was not disappointed.
If you’re looking for a series that keeps you on your toes and wanting more, to the point that you’ve watched a season in a day – then ding ding we have a winner! This stars Jessica Biel as a young mother who is overcome with a very public fit of rage and it follows her and a detective trying to discover the motive. This show is addictive and has you craving more after the first episode!
Sadly I haven’t got anything to compare this to, but I recommend if you want an addictive storyline.

Please leave a comment below if you have any recommendation for what I should watch for the month of January as I’m looking for new shows.

Ta Ta for now!
